Swirl 'n' chat in the studio

Swirl 'n' chat in the studio is in person events that have taken place in our studios. The people participating , work us on some collaborative work to discuss both personal and artistic impacts of the pandemic. The aim of this project was to re- connect with people in person with a relaxed approach. Creating an environment with them where we all feel safe to express ourselves freely whilst creating art produced through releasing emotional and mental energy.

The people involved were invited to follow a series of mini creative exercises whilst having discussions with us.  These exercises included picking out three words to do with their practise or about themselves and working on a large scale communal drawing where we draw within social restrictions and see how the drawing evolves the more that is added to it.

It was an interesting project to carry out. The participants responses varied and we gathered a variety of different responses in response to the pandemic and its impact.
